Aistear
Aistear is the curriculum framework for children from birth to 6 years in Ireland.
Aistear celebrates early childhood as a time of being, and of enjoying and learning from experiences as they unfold. It is underpinned by 12 interconnecting principles presented in 3 groups:

The aim of Aistear is to help every child to grow and develop as a competent and confident learner.
By enabling our Junior and Senior Infant pupils to engage in the Aistear programme in S.N. Réalt na Mara we aim to support each pupil's sense of

- exploration and thinking
