To all our Réalt na Mara pupils,
We hope you are all keeping well and staying healthy.
If you have any questions or would like assistance with the learning assignments you
have been given by your teachers, you can email the school for help:

While school is closed, try to keep to a routine.  
Work on your learnng assignments (see table below)
Get some fresh air and exercise.
Enjoy some hobbies.  
Practise your music or drama.
Draw or craft - work on your recycled hat project.
Try to  learn a new skill.
Play board games, charades or card games  with your family.
Have a go at our QUIZ ( see table below)
Help around the house.
Do an act of kindness for a member of your family each day.

We look forward to having you all back in Réalt na Mara as soon as possible.

This is a new way of working and learning at home and we encourage
our pupils to do the best they can under current circumstances.

We use a music programme in school called Dabbledoo Music. Dabbledoo Music
are offering free access to their Music programme to parents of pupils in our school.
This programme can be accessed by cutting and pasting the link below into the

Educational Publishers, CJ Fallon are facilitating free access to online copies of the text books we use
in our school, for pupils, teachers and parents during school cloures due to COVID-19.

A new phonics programme for Junior Infants (Sounds like Phonics A), Senior Infants (Sounds like Phonics B)
First Class (Sounds like Phonics C)  and  Second Class (Sounds like Phonics D) and can be accessed here

A very useful website is www.scoilnet.ie  This has lots of educational resources specifically designed for
Irish  schools.

Jolly Learning - This site helps children with the correct pronunciation of sounds. Other interactive activities are also
included. Check out the Resource Bank Tab  on the site for free work sheets, colouring sheets and other activities.

Oxford Owl - A free e-Library from Oxford Reading Tree for all class levels. This site also has maths games.

Maths Week Ireland  are running fantastic daily challenges such as  Target Boards and the game 24.

Séideán Sí - Lots of on-line activities through Irish that complement the approach set out for Irish in the primary
school curriculum.

Go Noodle - a selection of free videos including dancing, exercise, meditation and reflection activities.
